Are you drinking enough water?
The principal component of all our bodies, water makes up 50–70 % of our Bodyweight. Every cell, tissue, and organ in our body needs water to function properly. Drink more water, stay hydrated are well-known and oft-repeated sayings that we have always been hearing! But how do we really know if we are drinking enough and sufficient water? Lack of sufficient Intake of water leads to Dehydration a condition that occurs when you don’t have enough water in your body to carry out normal functions. Even mild dehydration can drain your energy and make you tired.

The crucial point to note is that HOW Much is too much?

Recently the adage that having 8 glasses of water per day is sufficient & is a reasonable goal. But this water intake is also depending on various factors below such as:-

1.Excercise
An active lifestyle and a regular exercise regimen lead to consistent sweat, high adrenaline levels and this needs to make up for the loss of fluids through perspiration. Hence, intake of more fluids is crucial to avoid Dehydration

2.Environment or Climate
Hot and Humid climatic conditions need more intake of fluids as compared to regular areas. Dehydration also can occur at high altitudes or maybe a result of mountain sickness.

3.Overall Health.
Every individual is different and so are his needs. An athlete, a gym goer, a dancer, and someone who has a sedentary lifestyle has different needs, and his/her water intake shall vary. Also, someone with diabetes, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, constipation all have varying fluid needs and must be satiated in the right way. .

Is Water the Only Option to Stay Hydrated? No, we also recommend juices, watery fruits such as cucumbers or watermelons, smoothies, soups, herbal teas, etc also make an important fluid intake. To prevent dehydration and make sure your body has the fluids it needs, so make water your beverage of choice. It’s a good idea to drink a glass of water

With each meal and between meals.

Before, during, and after exercise.
