Hypertension is a definite silent killer affecting lots of people. As per WHO facts and figures, it is one of the major causes of premature deaths worldwide. Hypertension is diagnosed if, when it is measured on two different days, the systolic blood pressure readings on both days is ≥140 mmHg and/or the diastolic blood pressure readings on both days is ≥90 mmHg. .

3.Heart failure, which occurs when the heart is not able to pump enough blood and oxygen to other vital body organs.

4.Irregular heartbeat issues.

Ways to Prevent Hypertension & Stay Healthy:-


1.A must try to reduce salt intake (to less than 5g daily).

2.Eat more fruits and vegetables

3.Exercise and stay active.

4.Limit alcohol consumption.

5.Limit the intake of foods high in saturated fats.
