Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) are Leucine, Isoleucine and Valine. They promote protein synthesis in muscle and reduce muscle breakdown. BCAAs also prevent tissue breakdown during training and are required to maintain lean tissue.
Benefits Of BCAA:
- Branched-chain amino acid may promote protein synthesis as it activates the key enzymes involved in protein synthesis after physical exercise.
- BCAA supplementation may help in muscle recovery post exercise as it reduces delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and muscle fatigue.
- BCAA with electrolytes supplement may enhance cellular rehydration rate.
- BCAA supplementation may help in lean mass growth and may enhance exercise performance.
